Free-Run Chicken Adult Kibble
Inclusive of VAT. The everyday recipe most adult dogs do well on
Most dogs do not need a specialist diet. They need a complete food with a named meat at the top of the list, a sensible fat level and a manufacturer that does not change the recipe every eighteen months. That is the entire brief for this bag, and it is why it outsells everything else we stock.
Chicken is 28% of the recipe and is declared as chicken, not as "poultry derivatives". Brown rice and oats carry the carbohydrate, which suits dogs that get loose on a very high-fat food. Fat sits at 14%, enough for a working spaniel on a normal week but not so much that a retired labrador gains a kilo a month.
The 9mm kibble suits mouths from a springer up to a shepherd. Feed 250g a day to a 20kg dog across two meals and adjust by body condition, not by the scoop: you should be able to feel ribs under a thin layer without pressing. If you can see them, feed more; if you have to dig, feed less.
We buy this in on a rolling contract so the recipe and the price both stay put. If the formulation ever does change, we say so on this page before the new batch ships, because a silent recipe change is how a settled dog suddenly stops eating.

“A year of feeding two dogs and the panel is identical to the first bag. That is worth more than any headline ingredient.”
“Works out well per kilo and the bag has a proper seal, so the bottom of it is as good as the top.”
“Nothing exciting and that is the point. No stomach trouble, good stools, dog is a healthy weight.”
