These are made the traditional Himalayan way: yak and cow milk, a little lime juice, a little salt, pressed and dried hard. There is nothing else in them. A medium dog will work one down over about forty minutes, which is long enough to cover a video call or the part of the evening when the house is loudest.

Match the chew to the dog, not to the price. A small chew given to a large dog is a swallowing hazard, and that is the only genuinely risky way to use these. Size up if you are between options, and take the chew away when it is short enough to fit entirely in the mouth.

The end nub is not waste. Microwave it on a plate for about 45 seconds and it puffs into something like a cheese puff. Cool it fully, then hand it back. It is the cheapest good trick in the shop and dogs lose their minds for it.

These are hard. Dogs with fragile teeth, recent dental work or a history of slab fractures should not have them, and no chew of any kind should be given unsupervised. If you are unsure whether your dog's teeth are up to it, ask your vet at the next check rather than finding out the expensive way.
